The notorious day of romance is just around the corner and statistics have evidenced this to be one of the most popular days of the year to propose. - Pride & Prejudice – Elizabeth & Mr Darcy
A timeless classic reaffirming the fact that there is a fine line between love and hate. As the mist descends in this infamous morning scene, as does Elizabeth’s stone cold exterior as she agrees to take Mr Darcy’s hand in marriage.
- The Wedding Singer – Robbie & Julia
A dash through the airport preludes a unique proposal through the art of song in this Rom-com as the wedding singer promises to put his muse to bed when she’s had too much to drink, let her hold the remote and even do the dishes…how could she say no?
- Friends – Mike & Phoebe
Out of all of the comedic marriage proposals to have graced our screens on the US sitcom Friends, this has to be our favourite! After numerous failed attempts at proposing throughout the entirety of the episode, Mike settles for hiding the ring in a slice of cake when the pair are at dinner, only to be foiled and quickly mocked by Phoebe!
